A Mustured Voice from the Youth of IPS Academy
A demonstration on 25th April, 2018 in support for women’s safety and the crime
of a Rape which was An Initiative by School Of Architecture (SOA), IPS Academy in
collaboration with ICSR - IPS Academy (Institutional Corporate Social Responsibility).
With the Leadership of Prof. Architect. Manita Saxena (Principal-
SOA), Mr. J.S.Rana (Head of ICSR) and Prof. Alka Saxena and teaching faculties of SOA supported the initiation
for the March Immensely.
A number of approximately 300 students and faculties from
All the departments in IPS Academy protested against the Rape culture of India.
The Silent March with posters denoted the crime against
women and reflected on the Initiatives which should be taken by every Human
being and the government to protect a child, a girl and a woman.
A breakthrough of the taboo on talking about Rape and a
speech by our very own students on Teaching Men that they should not take women
as an act of aggression, an affirmation of their strength or their Masculanity
took a stride and ensued a Human Chain to show “United we stand, divided we
fall”.
We hope that our march across the campus, a small step will
elevate the issue globally and create awareness to stop the crime in all
sincerity and enlighten the minds of the public.
